SEGA Purchases ATLUS Parent Company Index Coorperation

After over a month of rumors and speculation SEGA (technically it was a part of SEGA called SEGA Dream Cooperation that bought it) has decided to buy ATLUS parent company Index Cooperation. ATLUS is famous for Persona, Shin Megami Tensei and recently released Dragon's Crown. Many people (including me) thought Nintendo or Sony might buy them but SEGA was always thought to be the leading candidate.

I would rather Sony or Nintendo buy them but it could be worse (looking at you Crapcom). This isn't a great fit because SEGA doesn't really localize niche JRPG games a lot. Then again the did release extremely niche title Project Diva F in the U.S. If SEGA steps up their localization than this could be a good fit because SEGA usually makes multi-platform games.
